Help Find Wing Commander 2 (SNES)
Original Thread
TL;DR - There's a few completed prototypes of a SNES port of Wing Commander 2 floating around in the wild, the game has never been dumped, and most people are completely oblivious to its existence because whenever someone asks about Wing Commander 2 for SNES, they get pointed to "Secret Missions" (which was originally an expansion for the first Wing Commander).
Quoted from another post:
"Wing Commander 2 for the SNES was actually built from ground up specifically for the machine (as opposed to the port that was the originals) and was fully completed, but never released. The SNES version also had unique features, such as colour VDU's, more details can be found in that link I provided. The fact that it was complete and unique all add up to why this lost game is considered a treasure to the loyal Wing Commander community."
Apparently "Toxic Tommy" from GamePro reviewed it in May of 95 and it was reviewed by Ken Badziak in EGM April 95. More info and scans than you can shake a stick at.
Spread the word.
